Rae had shed a lot of her fleece this year before we were able to collect it so this fleece is part rooed (plucked) and part sheared so it is not quite in one complete piece.

Rae is a Boreray ewe who was born at Marlfield Farm in 2020. She's a fine example of the Boreray breed and is the last of a particularly special blood line in our flock. Here she is in 2020 as a lamb.
